Privacy Policy

What data we collect, why, how we protect it, and what rights you have over it.

Last updated: 11 September 2026

Introduction

CISORA Academy is committed to protecting the privacy of its website visitors, its trainees, and anyone who contacts it through social media. This page explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and store it, and what rights you have over it.

By using our website or filling in any of our forms — including forms shown inside our social media advertising — you agree to what is set out in this policy.

The data we collect

Data you give us directly

When you enrol in one of our courses, request information, or fill in a form on our website or within our advertising on platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok, we may collect:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone or WhatsApp number
  • Job title and place of work or study
  • Country or city
  • Any further information you choose to share with us in your messages

Data collected automatically

Our website may collect technical data that does not identify you personally — such as browser and device type, the pages you visited and how long you stayed — in order to improve the site's performance and the browsing experience.

What we never collect

We do not ask for or store payment card details. All payments are processed by licensed payment providers, and your card details never pass through our systems.

Why we use your data

We use the data we collect for these purposes only:

  • To contact you about the course or service you expressed interest in
  • To send you programme details, dates, fees and enrolment terms
  • To process your enrolment, manage your seat and follow your progress
  • To send learning materials or notices related to the course you are enrolled in
  • To send marketing content or announcements of new courses — which you can stop at any time
  • To improve our content and services and measure the performance of our campaigns

We do not sell your data, rent it, or trade it with any third party for marketing purposes.

Sharing data with others

We may share some of your data with providers of operational services we depend on, and only to the narrowest extent needed to deliver the service:

  • Advertising and social media platforms (such as LinkedIn and Meta) when you fill in a form displayed inside their advertising — this data is subject to that platform's own privacy policy alongside ours
  • Email, website hosting and form service providers for technical operation
  • Licensed payment providers to complete payments
  • The Cisco Networking Academy programme when you enrol in an official track, in order to create your account on the platform and issue your certificate of attendance, as the programme requires

We may also disclose data where a legal obligation or an order from a competent authority requires it.

How long we keep data

We keep your data for as long as is needed to fulfil the purposes above. In general:

  • Data of enquirers who did not enrol: up to 24 months from the last contact, then deleted
  • Data of enrolled trainees: for the duration of the training relationship and afterwards for as long as certificates and records require

You may ask us to delete your data at any time before those periods end.

Your rights

At any time you have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Request correction of any inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data from our records
  • Withdraw your consent to receiving marketing messages
  • Object to your data being used for a particular purpose

To exercise any of these rights, write to the email address at the end of this page. We respond to requests within 30 days at most.

To stop marketing messages, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any message, or send the word "STOP" to the WhatsApp number below.

Protecting your data

We follow reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss or disclosure — including encrypting the connection to the website and limiting access to the data to those who need it for their work.

That said, no method of transmission over the internet can be one hundred percent secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security for data sent to us.

Cookies and local storage

Our website may use essential cookies to operate the site, and analytics cookies to understand how visitors use it. You can set your browser to refuse these, bearing in mind that this may affect some site functions.

The site also saves a copy of the published student reviews in your browser's local storage so the page opens faster on your next visit. That copy stays on your device alone, is never sent to us, contains no personal data about you, and can be cleared by deleting the site's data in your browser.

Links to other sites

Our website and content may contain links to external sites, including platforms belonging to Cisco. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or content of those sites, and we recommend reviewing their policies when you visit them.

Children's privacy

Our services are directed at people aged eighteen and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone below that age. If we find that we have collected a minor's data without their guardian's consent, we delete it immediately.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after an update counts as acceptance of the revised version.
